Our Development Programs
Creating sustainable, long-term impact through multi-dimensional programs in rural communities.
Livelihood & Microfinance Program
The livelihood program offers financial products to rural and urban poor, particularly targeting women. VERC supports borrowers through integrated savings programs, enterprise counseling, agro-finance, and small business support.
Education Development Program
Promoting basic education and adult literacy through non-formal schools, tutoring support, and community learning centers. VERC ensures children from underprivileged families receive high-quality learning aids and pre-primary guidance.
Health & Nutrition Program
Providing maternal healthcare, child immunization support, primary treatment, and nutritional awareness programs in hard-to-reach rural areas to improve mother-child survival indices.
Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH)
Pioneering the Community-Led Total Sanitation (CLTS) methodology in Bangladesh. VERC works to secure 100% open-defecation-free villages and sets up sustainable water supply schemes in arsenic-contaminated and saline zones.
Women Empowerment & Rights
Developing social leadership, gender parity awareness, legal rights training, and institutional platforms for rural women to voice their rights and resist gender-based violations.
